Pushing the boundaries of traditional wedding photography, Richard’s style is reflected in the way he captures the mood, moments and beauty of his subjects in a sensitive and artful way.

Describing his passion, Richard states, “I love people, I love photography, and I love weddings. I¹ve worked in the fashion industry since the age of 15, and have been a professional photographer for just over 20 years—first in London, where I¹m from, and then in the USA. It was after shooting several fashion stories for Elegant Bride magazine that I discovered my passion for capturing the timeless beauty of a wedding.”

Richard combines the organic raw beauty of film alongside digital technology to achieve a graceful, nostalgic look. All film is hand-processed and digitally scanned, enabling Richard to offer the beauty of film while maintaining a completely digital workflow. Various wedding coverage and package options are available, including bridal portraits, engagement sessions and vintage Super 8 wedding films.

Richard recommends engagement sessions, stressing the importance of getting to know the bride and groom at the beginning of their engagement. “The engagement session is brilliant,” he explains, “because I get a chance to work with my couples and really see and feel their response to the camera.”
